Troubleshooting Delima supply for PS3?

I read that you can "combine" your Xbox friends list Live with your Messenger contacts to see when people are online games and play. Does anyone know what it does to activate this feature?
Microsoft says it is very easy, just a few steps. I have not tried it, I do not use MSN Messenger. Good luck.
