Ps3 Fan Test?
Does anyone know if the 40gig ps3 fan test is safe?
This involves switching off the button holding down the eject button and t6hen switching it back on again but this only works on the 40gig ps3
Has anyone heard anything from sony seeing if this is safe?
Sony announced yesterday that it was okay to do so. It will run your fan for about 5 minutes on high. The result is having cleaner cell processors, the internal power source, ect. I do not have a 40gb, so I can not tell you from personal experience that it works, but it should.

Is it okay to put another fan under my Ps3 Slim or they just do not feel comfortable for my PS3 Slim?

It's automatic fan compatible and blowing or far away? The greater the air movement in the right direction, can not really hurt anything. USB running fewer things better. Use the external load, etc. You do not want to knock on the PS 3 with the fans, or interrupt the flow of fans you have. List of good games coming 2010/2011? E3 2010?
I was wondering if anyone had a list or a link to a site with all the good games coming out this year. less silly games that nobody cares. So far, the games seem to be good for the years 2010 and 2011 are as follows: Little Big Planet Infamous February 2 Medal of Honor Level One COD Black Ops Castlevania Lords of Shadow The Force Unleashed 2 Dead Space 2 and Lord of the Rings: War in the North that I'm missing all looking for good games? Also, I mostly play on the PS3, but I have a 360 and Wii.

Do I need a fan to my Ps3 Slim?

The PS3 is designed to complete the interior of the outside air through the components and the hot air vent, keeping the system within specifications. As mentioned by others, keeping the PS3 in a well ventilated, with decent room temperature (about 72 degrees F) is a good start. If you feel your air inlet or ventilation begin to fill with dust, dirt or hair, clean with a small vacuum cleaner and a bit of pressure, low air or air compressed by an air compressor. A low pressure is important to move the dirt and grime without breaking the internal components, and vacuum (I use at the time I Use of wind) helps remove particles from the unit. Owner of a unit with good air circulation (space around the PS3 on all sides) in a room relatively cool should not be difficult to manage. The creation of an external fan on the PS3 will move more air and, possibly, keep the cooling system, but Sony does not recommend using one of these fans, and may void the warranty if they find out you used, and the system is dead – whether or not the system actually died Because the fan or not there is usually no doubt. To be sure, focus on the supported methods to keep your PS3 cool and happy: * fresh ambient air temperature (The room thermostat in the house, air conditioning, if necessary.) * Keep dust, dirt and hair from the air intake and ventilation areas, proactively if possible. * Keep your head space decent (a few centimeters, or as recommended in the manual) on the system. I also use HEPA filters in electronics my room, and do a good job of keeping the particulate matter at first, so that air passes through the PS3 is cleaner. Remember: you do not want your PS3 to become a component of air filter! O By the way, consider buying a cheap UPS (uninterruptible power supply), preferably with AVR (Automatic Voltage Control) technology, especially if you are in an area where his power is questionable (brownouts and spikes).
