PS3 not playing some discs and some new BluRay, what should I do? (Warranty broken)?
Well, I have my PS3 in November 2007. I was completely without any problem. Even my dirty BlueRay player, and stopped reading BlueRay discs (BluRay movies and Ps3 Games news, but I played my time frooze old at the time). I took it to a local company in the city fixed the consoles, because you have not saved the receipt of Guarantee stupid (who bought the target). Took part, said that the blueray lens must be replaced, and instructed me at $ 150 for labor and replacement lens BlueRay. Well, I brought my baby home, played games without freezing, and play a new game. I purchased Metal Gear Solid 4, and did not work! My PS3 currently still can not play BluRay movies and PS3 games! And it makes me crazy. Uuhhh, suggestions on how I can fix this problem? Or maybe sell it, then buy a new one?
I would call Sony and ask how much it costs to fix it. Because the company sent a local and you'll pay, of course, because the seal was broken (I guess). Whereas Sony / follow office during the problem, even without a receipt. I heard cleats free Sony due to mechanical problems, the goal of a malfunction. Anyway, call and ask to see how much it costs.
