I bought a flash drive, so you can use to transfer files from my PC to my PS3 4WD, but not on my PS3?
My PS3 is a version 80 GB 2.17! OK .. I went to Wal-Mart to buy a 1GB flash drive again! The Flash player is a SanDisk Cruzer ® Micro 1GB! I tried to transfer files from my PC on my PS3! But I havent been able to do! .. Even formatted my flash drive in FAT32 format Atleast the PS3 can recognize it! But when you insert the disc into the PS3 Flash Even USB indicator Comes Out! I want to know if anyone knows how to solve problem! I created a folder on my flash drive and PS3 in the PS3 folder I have a folder for video, audio, photo, UPDATE, then I have done everything TEMA, I just want to know wuts Da Deal, why not recognize my PS3! Sony Playstation 2 Vs Microsoft Xbox – Setting the Tone?
A systems’ availability, specifications, price, number and quality of games and perhaps most importantly its’ ability to provide fun and longevity are all factors that should be considered when purchasing a game console. After assessing the PS2 and Xbox on these criteria can we determine which console succeeds at obtaining higher sales?
The PS2 has the most games available as a result of its backward compatibility with Playstation. PS2 can not only play games intended for the original Playstation but it also makes them look better. It does not seem that Sony will have this advantage for very long however, as Xbox gears up to offer an extensive amount of games to a variety of gamers.
These two consoles are very similar in price however, Xbox tends to require the purchase of extra equipment for additional functions. For example, the PS2 comes ready to play DVD’s whereas the Xbox requires the purchase of the Xbox DVD playback kit. The Xbox to its credit does contain an 8GB Hard drive and is broadband ready and offers a live online gaming service. It is worth mentioning that PS2 does have extra gadgets available also for example a DVD remote, a hard disk, a mouse, a keyboard, an eye toy camera and game-specific gadgets such as a microphone for Guitar Hero.
Both systems have online capabilities, a similar amount and quality of games, cost the same amount of money and target the same market. The differences to follow put Xbox a nose ahead of the PS2. The graphics are sharper on an Xbox. Xbox loads and saves games faster since it writes the saved game data directly to the hard drive. This eliminates the need for memory cards. Also, with the purchase of 2 additional games and a controller a 50 dollar rebate was being offered on Xbox making it 50 dollars cheaper!
However, PS2 remained the leader in the industry. The year of its release the Playstation 2 showed the power of brand awareness and supplying capabilities. Sony Playstation 2 was the sales leader with a final tally of 1.4 million units sold as opposed to 934,000 Xbox consoles. With the launch of a new product by each manufacturer, Sony’s Playstation 3 and Microsoft’s Xbox 360 can we expect similar results? Is the PS3 likely to keep its lead in light of the inclusion of a blu-ray player combined with its industry clout? The most notable advantage for Microsoft is it’s one year jump on the release of the PS3 which resulted in many multi-platform developers making Xbox 360 their primary platform, which means the games will look and perform better. The PS3 versions will be ports of the 360 versions (the opposite was true for Xbox and PS2). The PS3 ($399.00) is also 100 dollars more expensive than the Xbox 360($299.00).

My ps3 is blinking yellow light, what does that mean?
Recently my PS3 too suffered from this dreaded yellow light of death, I really thought PS3′s are sturdy and probably may not be susceptible to any problems like Xbox 360. I found some info on why this yellow light problem occur in a PS3 first place and would like to share that info with you.
Also, I didn’t send my PS3 to Sony as they charged me an arm and leg and asked me to wait for 6 long weeks. I was devastated until I found a very clear and straight forward guide and videos to fix this yellow light problem myself. I’m glad I found PS3lightsfix guide by Rob Sheffield.
Coming back to what causes Yellow light in PS3, the most annoying problem to suffer is the Yellow Light on the PS3, as we’ve paid loads of money for PS3. And obviously we expect excellent quality right? Well, Sony, the manufacturer of the PS3, claims a low 1% failure rate, even though recent surveys and forums shows this yellow light problem rate to be as high as 5-10%.
The “yellow light of death” (YLOD) occurs after a major hardware failure. Many people suspect that 9/10 YLODs result from bad solder joints on the motherboard, while 1/10 result from power supply malfunction (these numbers are not proven, just speculated). So far, the leading theory in the cause the YLOD is that over time, the processor gets so hot that it causes the solder to liquefy, and eventually the solder loses its connection with the CPU / GPU on the motherboard.
This explains why the YLOD is most commonly seen on the 20GB and 60GB models which use older processing technology, thus causing more heat and inefficiency. So far on this subject, Sony has refused to reveal any information regarding the causes of or solutions to the yellow light of death.
The “red light of death” occurs after a major Hard Drive failure. This is different from the YLOD, as the YLOD refers to a problem with motherboard.
