All About Ps3 Controllers

Introducing the PlayStation 3, typically called PS3 and produced by Sony gaming Entertainment. The PlayStation 3 offers intense competition to Nintendo’s Wii and Microsoft’s Xbox 360 as part of the 7th era of video game consoles. The wireless Sixaxis and DualShock 3 comprise the current PS3 controllers sold currently.

The term ‘Sixaxis’ is a merging of ‘six axis’ which signifies directional movements. It’s also intended to indicate motion sensitive technology. These wireless PS3 controllers can function for upto thirty hours by charging them to their maximum capacity. The battery is entirely removable and Sixaxis are provided with the notes of the simplest way to go about the method.

An impressive function of Sixaxis PS3 controllers is their ability to read both translational acceleration and rotational orientation along 3-D plains.

All Sixaxis PS3 controllers have LED bulbs on the side. On the top of the controller you will discover numbered LED outlet indicators which total 4 in number. These identify and distinguish various wireless PS3 controllers. After you switch on the PS3, one can enter the menu showing the remaining battery of all PS3 controllers which are in sync, by tapping the PS button. This is only one of the options shown on the menu

Sixaxis PS3 controllers employ finer analog sensitivity than DualShock 2, the immediate predecessor to DualShock 3 mentioned before. They build the 8 bit reception of the DualShock 2 to a ten bit reception. The frame underneath the L2 and R2 commands has been removed and made into triggers. The range of travel decides the level of analog input rather than the range of pressure. There’s a jewel like PS button with the PlayStation logo in the place of the Analog function button which can be discovered on previous dual analog releases. This allows these controllers to change inputs, turn the consoles or controllers on or off, access the home menu, etc .

Next, The DualShock 3 is a vibration feedback pad by Sony for PS3. The DualShock 3 was primarily pioneered as a secondary peripheral for the first PlayStation. An enhanced PlayStation release came with the controller that was originally incorporated in the Sony twin Analog Controller. The DualShock 3 wireless PS3 controllers come with all of the features of Sixaxis along with rumble capabilities.

Controller Dual Shock : Hight-End User Reviews

Controller Dual Shock – Great Controller

I bought Controller Dual Shock for an extra controller. These things have a lot of features. The motion sensor aspect will take some getting used to by this gamer. I was unaware of this feature when I bought my PS3, and it certainly adds a new element to gaming. It was on sale for a very good price and worth it.

Controller Dual Shock – Best Controller Ever

This is great. Of course it should have been out during launch but who cares anyway. I didn’t get a PS3 till the MGS4 bundle came out and this was included. I decided to get another controller to be able to play madden with my buddies and it couldn’t be better. The only controller that is capable of competing with this one is the Nyko Zero and the only way I would buy the Nyko over this one is if it is 5 bucks which I did on Black Friday.

Controller Dual Shock – Better Than Sixaxis Control

This Controller Dual Shock does not have nothing special, especially if you had used the Controller Dual Shock 2 in the past. It is practically the same Sixaxis control but the vibration mode has incorporated and the weight is slightly heavy compared to Sixaxis control. It is very sensitive and very comfortable. The battery has a long life (runs out after 6 hours of intensive use).

Controller Dual Shock – As Advertised

Well, this thing is very familiar. The Controller Dual Shock feels better because it’s got a little more heft and weight. But the battery runs out probably twice as fast, whereas I charged my Sixaxis about once a week, I’m charging the Controller Dual Shock 3 probably twice a week. And I thought I remember Sony and Immersion talking about how they had some “new and more precise” rumble technology, so far it feels like the old same stuff. The only reason I bought this thing was because of the amazing sale Amazon had.

Controller Dual Shock – AWESOME Product

Wireless was the greatest idea for the PS3. It’s so much better without the wires. You don’t trip over wires and you aren’t at risk of accidentally pulling your system off the shelf. Plus this Controller Dual Shock has the Dualshock feature which allows rumbling. It’s definitely better than just the SixAxis plain controller. Plus I love the feature where you can turn the PS3 on or off with your controller plus ejecting the disk. Great Buy.
