Broken Ps3 Usb port what should I do?
I have a playstation 3 and recently i was playing a game on it and it came up with a message saying that my controller needed charging and so I stuck the charging cable in but then I realised it wasn’t charging so i had to pull it out and soon after I looked to see what the problem was and I found out that the centre part of my PS3′s USB port/dock was missing and I found it jammed into the USB part of my charger cable…
What can I do? is there any way of fixing it myself or is it something that I need to get repaired at a PC shop? also how much will it cost to get it repaired?
Plus I live near Southampton is there any place near there?

Need help updating my ps3?
Hello everyone. I bought a new PS3 in January 2010 and had tried to find the system update 1.3 is installed. Now I'm thinking of buying new games soon to plan the end of the month I have heard COD4 MW1 MW2 but with time I'll have the latest games as the dark side or New Star Wars Force Unleashed soon (already booked Gamespot). I am currently without access to high speed Internet in all its forms. No wifi, no internet, satellite without Internet DSL, ADSL, can get me or anyone around me is dial-up and goes no more than 28.8. So I can not download the update from its PS3 because it would too long (according to my connection for 5 hours 26 minutes) I need to get a PS3 system update to play the latest games or any person on game discs if necessary. Worth buying Playstation Magazine subscription plan to do the same and I've heard mixed reviews about the publications of grace
Updates are never, always necessary unless you want to use one of the online features of the PS3. System updates generally focus days the problems of the system and games are not, hence the name, the system updates. Thurs updates do things for games, as a developer in the game again you do not have to download updates to play, unless you try to play online. No, it will be on disk in most cases. Again, the overall system updates have nothing to do with the game.

I own of all current console, so I bought all the games that came out I wish the best console game. Whenever possible, I can play multiplayer games on Xbox 360 and PS3, and usually I prefer the PS3 version. Always to prefer the PS3 version or I can not tell a difference at all, I do not remember preferring a game Xbox 360 on your PS3. However, I can play my Xbox 360 over my PS3, but only because the Xbox 360 is so easy to mod to play burned games. I paid $ 25 to mod someone my system to play burned games and sell burned copies of any game you want for $ 10 each. They are safe to play on Xbox Live (or is not safe to play line depends on how you made the copy).
