Ps3 Dualshock Wireless Controller
Although it’s not exactly a game (as Amazon claims it to be), this Ps3 Dualshock Wireless Controller (obviously) works perfectly for the PS3. I know there are some off-brands (or possibly a name brand, I don’t know) who make wired controllers, but go with the wireless for sure. It’s simple to charge when you have to and if it makes you feel any better, you can keep the charger plugged into the controller at all times and pretend it’s wired if that’s what makes you happy.

The PS3 Dualshock Wireless Controller is really nice and, personally, red is my favorite color so that is why I chose it in the first place. At 42.99 it was a good deal because the price is locked at 54.99 in stores(+ spending time to get there). Overall, if you are looking for a controller, the red one is pretty cool and definitely worth getting.

This PS3 Dualshock Wireless Controller is just as good as the original black ones, others claiming these are cheap are plain wrong. It’s heavy, sturdy, and ready for punishment. The 1-4 controller # lights glow through on my red controller very strongly around the plastic, but that’s to be expected from an overpowered LED. I’ve dropped, sat on and played with this thing for 3 months now. All is well. Typical Dualshock, doesn’t disappoint. Never going back to 6-axis ever.

PS3 Dualshock Wireless Controller – Dualshock 3 Rocks, Literally
For the sale price of $40, you can’t beat this PS3 Dualshock Wireless Controller. I’ve used the xbox version, oversized in my opinion, but this controller fits easily into the hand and the perfect symmetry of the buttons is easy to learn. My wife thinks that the vibration feature is a gimmick, but I think it adds so much to the experience of playing games, even trivia games! But the most useful feature is the fact that they are bluetooth devices so you don’t have to point them at the ps3, or even be in the same room to use them! Oh yes, and the swivel buttons can be used as a jog controller for your blu-ray or regular dvd playback. This is the controller to get.

I am about to have to purchase my third Playstation 3 Controller after they literally keep falling apart in my hands. I don’t drop them or attempt to inflict damage on them in any way but they keep breaking. On my first two controllers the springs for the triggers broke and now on the third one, the plastic shell has been breaking off piece by piece.
I never had this problem with PS2 controllers, these Playstation 3 Controller are very fragile and not worth the price.

Playstation 3 Controller DS3 – Not ‘Exactly’ Like DS2
This is a must for your PS3, however, it is not exactly the same as the PS3 DualShock2. It does feel heavier than the SIX-AXIS, and the rumble feature does suck up the battery life (not TOOO bad, but still).
I like it, specially with GT5 Prologue, couldn’t image playing a racing or fighting game without the force feedback function…

OK, now we’re in the generation of gaming with motion sensitive controlling, which has become a worldwide phenomena thanks to the Wiii. With the PS3 Sony have utilised the motion sensitive gaming whilst keeping the conventionally easy Playstation 3 Controller. The SIXAXIS controls of the PS3 pad allow game producers to implement certain motion sensitive aspects to their games, without it becoming too much for those less active gamers.
The Playstation 3 Controller Dualshock have been a part of the Playstation generation since the beginning and now they have the Dualshock 3. A controller that reacts with vibrations at certain instances within the game. Say if you’re using the SIXAXIS while playing a driving game, you’re steering the car with the motion sensing turned on, and you collide with a wall. The pad would vibrate with the same level of ferocity of how you hit the wall, in a sense giving you that additional level of realism.
The battery life and size are also something I want to touch upon with the wireless PS3 pads. A full charge can literally give you more than 12 hours of solid gaming, and when compared to the wireless XBOX360 pads, the PS3 version is minute. It’s light and just generally easy to hold when compared to the bulky and annoying XBOX360 pad.
If you have a PS3, you should definitely own a wireless pad. So buy it.
