Ps3 Hdmi – Most Satisfactory

Unlike some other reviews, I don’t think this is a noisy product. Placed in a unit with the door closed, I can’t hear it in operation.

I previously had a 60GB PS3 HDMI, and whilst I think it looked better, it was noisier, and took up a lot more space. The slim PS3 HDMI doesn’t seem to heat up like my old fat model.

Won’t play ps2 games, but if that’s important you can always keep your ps2 in a cupboard, or if you don’t have one already, pick one up for buttons in game / gamestation, etc.

With game selling used games quite reasonably in store, it’s not difficult to build up a library of games without incurring major expense.

All in all this is a top machine. It’s not cheap, but with free online connectivity in most games, which really does enliven most titles when you are fed up playing against the computer, built in wireless, built in blu-ray and dvd playback, it’s hard to find something not to like.

PS3 HDMI – BEST ENTERTAINMENT HARDWARE EVER!

So you are about to make that decision, xbox360 or PS3 HDMI.

here are my reasons why you should get a PS3 HDMI.

1- BLURAY MOVIES: one of the cheapest and best bluray drives in the market, it receives software updates on a regular basis, it also connects to the internet and downloads content related to your bluray movies.

2- INTERNET CONNECTIVITY: it comes with a wireless adapter inside, right out of the box, unlike the 360 it is not sold separately, it also has ethernet connection and blue tooth.

3- HARD DRIVE: the PS3 HDMI comes with 160 and 250gb of space plenty of room to store your movies, tv shows, pictures and music, but if you want more space, isvery easy to change the harddrive for a bigger one, or just connect your external hdd to the usb ports, note you cannot replace the 360 harddrive, the PS3 HDMI uses any laptop sata hdd, you can buy off amazon for a very low price.

4- RELIABLE AND DURABLE HARDWARE: when you open the box and hold this console in your hands, you will know immediately that this is a hardware with a high standard of quality, this thing is top japanese industrial quality, hacing owned a 360 I always felt I had a time bomb under my tv screen, the 360 has an average of 40% failure rate in the UK alone, that thing gets hot as hell.

5- SUPER SILENT: you will forget it is in your living room, watch your movies in full comfort, the 360 sounds like a jet engine all the time.

6- BEAUTIFUL DESIGN: the console is a beautiful machine to have in your living room, it looks like a mature piece of hardware, black and slick, the 360 looks like a huge white fridge, it always looks out of place.

7- NO CHANGING BATTERIES: the controllers in the PS3 HDMI do not use any removable batteries, they recharge through usb, making the controller smaller, and super lite, so forget about buying batteries and rechargers.

8- PLAYSTATION STORE: in the store you will find almost every single movie you want to watch to rent or to buy, in standard and high definition, at very affordable prices, it really is much better than blockbuster lower prices and a bigger catalog.

9- PLAYSTATION HOME: finally a cool 3d environment to meet your friends, chat, talk, play games or just fool around with other people. My favorite is to seat at the chess tables and wait for a contender or invite a friend to play, and also to get into a large crowd and just start dancing, people will join you and you will laugh at how silly it is. Also they play movie trailers and interviews in a large cinema house, it is growing place with many areas dedicated to games and game companies, very cool stuff.

The Official Ps3 Release Dates Worldwide

Information about the Sony PS3 release date is difficult to find at the moment. Not because there’s none out there, but because over the last year, the release window has changed three times. Just before E3 2006, Sony announced the PS3 release date would be on November 11th in Japan, and November 17th 2006 for North America. Demand since then has skyrocketed, and despite the considerable cost of the PS3 compared to the two competing next-gen consoles, Xbox 360, and Nintendo Wii, every major outlet offering pre-orders in the US has sold out.

Due to this considerable demand, the release date for the PS3 had to be pushed back in regions where PAL is the television standard, which includes the important European, Australasian, Russian, Middle Eastern, and African markets, until March 2007. Sony was quick to clarify that the number of units to be shipped had not changed, after earlier predicting that they would sell a massive six million units before the end of 2007. The delay stems from a lack of supply of blue-laser diodes, the crucial component for the read-head of the Blu-ray drives, which will be standard in every PS3 unit.

Analysts have been quick to criticise Sony for their failure to ensure a steady supply, noting that this latest delay will give the competing Nintendo Wii which will retail for a considerably lower price a lead in those markets outside Japan and North America, as well as giving the Xbox 360, which has already been on shelves for months, an even longer free run in the market. If any proof of the ravenous demand consumers have for PS3 is needed, the prices being charged by profiteers offering pre-orders on eBay and the like reach as high as $1,500, while Sony puts the official PS3 release date price at a mere US$500 for the 20GB version, and $600 for the 60GB version. Sony has allowed for 600,000 pre-order units for the American market, some of which will find their way from the online auctioneers to Europe and the other areas whose consumers have been told that they’ll simply have to wait.

Others have been equally quick to point out that similar delays and short supply marked the launch of Microsoft’s Xbox 360 approximately one year earlier, with far fewer than Sony’s 600,000 units being available on release day. Understandably, this has lead to speculation that the media buzz created by fans queuing for hours just to be among the first to own one of the new consoles actually plays into the hands of the manufacturers: The consumer frenzy that results from high demand and relatively low supply may help to boost the popularity, come PS3 release date in November. Nintendo’s Wii generated a similar effect when attendees at this year’s E3 Expo were prepared to queue for up to eight hours just to spend a few minutes on one of the prototype consoles.

While the latest news regarding the Sony PS3 release date is disappointing for fans in Europe and the other smaller markets, the launch will still be among the most ambitious in console gaming history. The demand for pre-orders may well be fetching the highest prices ever recorded for any console system at release date, and despite fierce competition from the other manufacturers, Sony’s marketing machine is clearly running at full steam. This will be a launch to remember.

One of Rush’s finest moments, second only to Moving Pictures. This album includes two classic songs, “The Spirit of Radio” (which has one of the most recognizable guitar riffs in all of rock) and “Freewill.” There’s also the epic-feeling “Jacob’s Ladder,” as well as “Entre Nous,” a sort of intellectual love song (if such a thing can be said to exist). The introspective “Different Strings” and the …
