Ps3 Controller – Do Ya Feel Me?
I bought my first PS3 Controller this month, and what a cool thing I’ve been depriving myself of for the last two years. I never thought that a silly controller vibration could add much to the gaming experience….but don’t knock it `til ya try it certainly applies here.
One of my original Sixaxis controllers that came with my 60GB PS3 started malfunctioning. So I decided that I’d replace it in conjunction with starting Dead Space.
The first PS3 Controller Dualshock effect was when I had to stomp on something in the game; the PS3 Controller literally shook in my hands adding a sense of reality to the action that I was taking in the game.
And of course when I fired my first shot, the PS3 Controller recoiled with the blast. If you don’t have one these already, add this to your cart.
If you only have one, you need another for when you play with a friend or while your other one is charging. Man, I don’t know how I ever played games without a Dualshock! This thing really makes gaming on a PS3…well…better. Ya feel me?

PS3 Controller – There’s (better) life after SixAxis (or Good, Good Vibrations)
I didn’t jump on the Ps3 Controller Dualshock 3 bandwagon for a long time because… well… we had 2 SixAxis already and some third party ‘rumble’ contraption that didn’t really amount to much but they still added up to 3 controllers and we couldn’t justify a fourth and a fifth.
But, all good (and bad) things come to an end eventually and the initial SixAxis finally expired so we had no choice but to go for the DS3. To make the long story short: we are happy with it. It’s the old SixAxis plus the vibrations.
At this time, we get the DS3 to vibrate with most of the games we play. I’m playing Fallout 3 these days and it vibrates quite nicely when weapons are fired or when mines explode and the kids are busy with Little Big Planet and the DS3 is compatible with LBP too.
For anyone who’s not familiar with the PS3 Controller, their main features are: – rechargeable – Bluetooth enabled – motion sensitive – support rumble and vibrations That’s just about it.
To me, the DS3 is the perfect game controller. I can’t say that I really missed the rumble a lot but, now that it’s here, I’m glad we have it. Happy gaming everyone. I love the DS3 and I love the PS3 a bit more because of it.
