I have a question about Rockband for PS3?
My son has all the guitar hero games and someone I know is selling the drumset and mic for his PS3 sytem. My question is, the guys says it is the metallica drums and microphone. Will my son be able to use this on any game or just the metallica one? Also, can you play the drums with the guitar hero games? Sorry I don’t know anything about this stuff.

I’m assuming the “metallica drums” are the Guitar Hero World Tour drums that have a Red, Blue, and Green pad; and yellow and orange cymbals. Yes this will work with any game, except Rock Band 1. They did not work with Rock Band 2 on release day, but Harmonix released a patch which lets you. If the PS3 is connected to the Internet, you won’t have to worry about this as the patch should already be installed. If his PS3 is not connected to the Internet, he needs to hook it up to the internet to make them work with Rock Band 2. Unfortunately, no patch has been released to enable them in Rock Band 1. They will work with all the Guitar Hero games that support drums.
The microphone will work.
