Questions about ubuntu linux on PS3?

Does anyone else have problems with the Ps3 Wireless Controller?
My husband is mad because when he came home from work took over to play, and keep scrolling down by itself. He supports the game you want to play, but first, click on it, which rejects the list. It is as if something is holding the joystick in the down position, only that there is nothing wrong with that, you can move but the control moves to the final back on their own. Anyone else have a problem like this, and what could be wrong with that? Has not fallen or anything, is a new system like 2 days ago. Is completely also charged.
I have a similar problem, but my left analog stick is sorta stuck in no position to move up. and I know that pressing reset button did not work out. I think there are some problems with Ps3 Controllers

My PS3 will not connect to Playstation network?
My connection to the Internet, says successful and if the dose of my IP address. I can be online through my PlayStation. I tried with both wired and wireless successful in connecting to the network.
