Broken Ps3 Usb port what should I do?
I have a playstation 3 and recently i was playing a game on it and it came up with a message saying that my controller needed charging and so I stuck the charging cable in but then I realised it wasn’t charging so i had to pull it out and soon after I looked to see what the problem was and I found out that the centre part of my PS3′s USB port/dock was missing and I found it jammed into the USB part of my charger cable…
What can I do? is there any way of fixing it myself or is it something that I need to get repaired at a PC shop? also how much will it cost to get it repaired?
Plus I live near Southampton is there any place near there?

so my 40 GB PS3 has finally arrived a few weeks ago, and I try to get another. The reason why is low because the bluray diode laser that reads the recorded disc, and it's like $ 150 to replace, so I thought why not get a better hair? Best Buy has' em for about $ 240 refurbished. What I know is if the disk is replaced, because I do not want to buy and have it break in a year or two … @ Carlos, yes, but it depends on how you play. I play at least an hour and a half days, and I had mine for 4 years
when the renewal of a PS3 going through it and replace what is worn or suspect, that the basis of what was wrong with one that was returned under warranty and has renewed – basically, if you send a PS3 in your warranty that will replace it with a renewed and then repair or use as parts, usually ends with the PS3 and its renewal. will not be replaced either party in the refurbished PS3, only broken or worn parts.

Bad house wiring? It sounds less like a situation like that. It is not uncommon in buildings some time .. older types of wiring used. The worst thing is not ready for the actual amount of electronics. So yeah check the wiring. Meanwhile, buy a extension boxes, you know the type with more then a socket address. But most important of a switch. This way you can turn it off and this so that such discharges will not be over.

No, I can not do that, because music should be converted to a size small. Unless you have a microSD card into the phone, in this case, it might work. But the kind of questionable anyway. The reason you do not have the software, because you have to buy separately.
