PS3 still supports DivX playback?
I know that Sony adds DivX version 2.10, I just got a PS3 and I'm in the last version (3.4 I think) that had a working group. Avi on a flash drive, but the PS3 does not see any vids on the disc when I come to it. Did you read DivX or something I'm doing wrong? I'm in the process of turning it into mpeg, but have a couple of hours and wanted to use DivX anyway. Advice? Unless you have a specific folder on your flash drive called "Video" on your PS3 you will find a video file (I have experienced myself), then one way to see everything on your flash drive is going to the XMB, and instead of pressing "x", press triangle, then select "Show all" or "show all". At the same time, make sure that you are under "video" on the XMB. Once you are on your flash drive this way, go where you have the movie and try to play from there. If he can play well, okay, if not there may be something in the code that prevents you from playing on the PS3.
