PS3 Recent News – The Shocking Truth
Reliable PS3 recent news about the Sony release date is hard to track down at the moment. The reason is not a shortage of news, but because in the last 12 months, the release time frame has changed three times. Sony announced the PS3 release date would be on November 11th in Japan, and November 17th 2006 for North America prior to E3 2006.
Since then demand has skyrocketed, and eventhough PS3 is more expensive when compared to its two competiitors -next-gen consoles, Xbox 360, and Nintendo Wii, all major outlets presenting pre-orders in the US is sold out.
As a result of this considerable demand, ps3 recent news for the release date indicates it had to be moved back in PAL is the television standard regions. This includes the noteworhty Australasian, African markets,European, Russian, and Middle Eastern area , until March 2007.

If any proof of the ravenous demand consumers have for PS3 is needed, the prices being charged by profiteers offering pre-orders on eBay and the like reach as high as $1,500, while Sony ps3 recent news puts the official release date price at a mere US$500 for the 20GB version, and $600 for the 60GB version. Sony has allowed for 600,000 pre-order units for the American market, some of which will find their way from the online auctioneers to Europe and the other areas whose consumers have been told that they’ll simply have to wait.
Others have been equally quick to point out that similar delays and short supply marked the launch of Microsoft’s Xbox 360 approximately one year earlier, with far fewer than Sony’s 600,000 units being available on release day. Understandably, this has lead to speculation that the media buzz created by fans queuing for hours just to be among the first to own one of the new consoles actually plays into the hands of the manufacturers.
The wild consumer feeding frenzy resulting from relatively low product supply and high demand can, according to ps3 recent news, be expected to boost the popularity, with the coming of the release date in November. Industry experts note with interest Nintendo’s Wii generated a similar effect when this year’s E3 Expo visitors were showed a willingness to queue for up to eight hours for the privelege of spending just a few minutes on one of the prototype consoles.

Ps3 Consoles – Unbeatable Price/performance Ratio!
I have the Slim now since a few days and am completely satisfied. In addition to the Slim, I have a Japanese 20GB version here at home, and I think I can draw good comparisons. The processing of the new is very good, I’d say even better than my old fat lady! The operating noise, however, are only marginally quieter as its predecessors, I personally think it’s just the “sound” that has changed. Lovely is the need to slim up less space, draws less power and has an adequate 120GB hard drive. What worried me at first were the cheap-looking buttons () on photos, but in kind, even see them really well made, they shine silver light.
Your pressure point is also very pleasant and generally they make a trivalent impression! When the device is switched on, and the Power and Eject button lights, resulting in a darkened room really good looks. In addition to downloading songs and BluRay games I’ve also tried the same BluRay movie function with the BR of “Home”. The PS3 Consoles Slim reads the disc as a lot faster then my former high-end standalone BR player (BDP-51FD), whether the picture is excellent, I can see no difference! For sound, I unfortunately can not say much because I lack the necessary equipment. What many do not know all the PS3 Consoles units, the old Playstation 1 games is going on, I personally have about 200 old titles here and I am glad that I can play this well on the PS3 Consoles.
All in all an excellent device. For 299th – you get offered a lot, games, BR & DVD movies, photos, music, online connectivity, PSone and so on. The old PS3 Consoles owners can safely access the new slim, they will not regret it! Schick, “small”, relatively quiet, very well made. Top!
PS3 Consoles – I’m Very Satisfied
have just taken the PS3 Consoles Slim in operation. I like it very well – built directly my 320 GB disk, formatted, and then the backup restore work – everything works just fine. The new lens also has its charm – and sometimes quite honestly – I am building my technical equipment is no shrine to have them perfectly in scene. I also think she has a very compact and clear and I no longer have the problem that scratched the piano at the slightest touch, or is full of fat fingers.
As for me totally convinced, is the low noise and low power consumption. Moreover, I mean that the Blu-ray drive reads faster than my “old” PS3 Consoles movies and reproduces.
The lighting of the two front buttons are not as intrusive, is great when watching movies in complete darkness.

Ps3 Console Slim Is The Same As Fat Ps3
Thought many said you can’t install Linux anymore into the PS3 Console slim, I don’t care much cause I never install Linux into my fat PS3 Console at all. Or can we still I don’t know and haven’t try it.
So let’s talk about the goods.
-Lighter than fat PS3 Console by 5ibs.
-Finger print can mess with the PS3 Console slim because the cover have texture that finger prints can’t touch it.
– PS3 Console slim is better than PS3 Console fat just like PS2 slim was better than PS2 fat.
-Flat and not fat.
-The power cord is smaller and easier to plug in hell yeah!!
-It doesn’t have the back switch anymore like the fat PS3 Console and fat PS2, you can shut it down and once it turn red light, you can unplug the power cord if you don’t intent to play for a long period of time, Sony state it in the manual. PS2 slim also don’t have the back switch as well.
-Everything else is still PS3 Console and that’s good.
The a bit kind of bad thing was that you can’t touch the front buttons to power on and cover it for 3 seconds to turn it off anymore and the reset button can be touch as well, you got to push the buttons now.
BUT it’s not even a big deal, why?
Because the DS3 controller is all you need. Want to turn on the PS3 Console, just push the PS button on the controller. Want to turn off the PS3 Console, just shut it down from the PS3 Console users top or hold the PS button 3 seconds and when the options come up, scroll down to shut the system off, easy and simple.
I will update my review when I know more about the PS3 Console slim like can we still install Linux or other programs in.
Blu-ray movies look awesome so anyone who want a Blu-ray player and want a game system, PS3 Console slim is all you need. You don’t have to buy a [...] to [...] Blu-ray player, PS3 Console slim can do all that and even play PS3 Console games as well.
I recommend to anyone who want a PS3 Console, get the PS3 Console slim, its awesome. PS3 Console also have some awesome games and some more awesome games will come out too.
Note to the fanboys on both side, PS3 Console and X360, both PS3 and X360 are awesome so fanboys need to stop their biases toward each others and play the games you guys like and stop hating on other console.

Which System is Better: the Xbox 360 or the PS3?
With the holiday season not far away and the Ps3 Slim about to break into the market, many people are trying to decide what console to buy. Because of how close the mainstream consoles – specifically the PS3 and Xbox 360 (and to a lesser extent, the Wii) – are in terms of competition, it’s tough to settle on one. Some folks just buy both if they have the money, but if you’re considering a system for yourself or your child/other family member, you probably just want to buy one.
Which leads to the natural question of which system is better: the Xbox 360 or the PS3?
The PS3 has a slight lead this season just because of the Slim coming out shortly. However, the Xbox 360 is still very strong and has been arguably more successful since both consoles were launched. Here are a few reasons you might want to buy a 360 over a PS3.
1. Game selection
The Xbox 360 is still dominating in terms of game selection. It has targeted games of every genre, and therefore has the widest spread of titles – not to mention exclusive rights to the Halo series, Gears of War, the Fable series, and Left 4 Dead to name a few. The 360 undeniably has a lead here.
2. The Xbox Live System

The 360 allows parents to control exactly what your children can do on the system, which is especially important if you have the Xbox Live feature. You can block games, restrict who your kids play with and talk to, and even set time limits for how long your children use the console each day.
Those are just a few reasons to buy an Xbox 360 this holiday season. In terms of which system is better where the Xbox 360 and PS3 are concerned, it’s hard to say, as both have benefits depending on what exactly you’re looking for in a console.
A final important note is that the Xbox 360 Elite has been dropped to $299, so you can get a more advanced version of the regular Xbox 360 console for the same price as a PS3.
