playstation 3 controller is the first controller I bought for my ps3. I never liked a lot the Sixaxis that came out with the system, mainly because of the lack of vibratory response. Now playstation 3 controller dualshock 3 is much better, it feels better on your hands since its heavier. And the motion detection works better for me because I actually “feel” the controller, sixaxis is so light weight that It gets difficult to handle.

Playstation 3 Controller – Bought It Broken
The contact under the square button was messed up and degraded over 1 day till it eventually didn’t work. Got it replaced and no problems with my current one.
This had the strongest vibration out of the next-gen consoles, and feels pretty cool when combined with the six-axis control. One thing that bothers me is the joystick placement; it doesn’t fell natual, but I got used to it.

Playstation 3 Controller - Finally… Rumble For The Dualshock Sixaxis
I originally didn’t think that the rumble would be that big of a deal until I didn’t have it. I found myself leaning towards games for my Xbox 360 but now… in the last few days I have purchased 4 games for my PS3 including Grand Theft Auto IV and the new Dualshock Sixaxis is great. It really adds a dimension of gameplay that is so visceral.
Right now I am playing Grand Theft Auto IV and the game is so amazing. I am also playing Condemne2: Bloodshot and the rumble adds a lot of depth to the gameplay. I really didn’t think that I missed the rumble that much. But having it back again reminds me how integral it really can be to true gameplay immersion.
Get on Amazon and by this thing… you won’t regret it.

Playstation 3 Controller – Dual Shock, Explain To Me Why
I understand this is a excellent controller, but why shock, why is it so important to some of you? The realism? I guess, I just don’t understand why it’s such a great thing. I’ve had it on some contoller before can’t remember it was a while ago, it was more of an annoyance than anything. Am I missing the point? Thank you.
