do Xbox Live month cards have to be activated by a cashier to work?
My friend asked me today if he stole a 3 month card from a store like blockbuster or walmart would it work or would the cashier have to scan it to register it online with microsoft?

Yes. All gift cards, credit cards, service cards, etc. must be scanned by the cashier for that very reason, they’re practically cash and easy to steal.

What does a DVI – HDMI cord look like?
OK here is the deal. I plan of getting a PS3 in the upcoming months and I am not allowed to have a TV in my room. Instead I am going to get an LCD TV and use it as a computer monitor instead of a TV. This LCD TV will also be what I play my PS3 on. My computer is brand new and I am almost POSITIVE that it will have a DVI – HDMI chord in which I can plug the LCD TV into. However I am not quite sure what the plug looks like and I just want to make sure my computer does have a DVI – HDMI socket. My computer is a Dell Vostro 220s. If anyone can help me with this it would be greatly appreciated.
Sorry my title is slightly deceiving. I meant what does the outlet on the back of my computer look like?
Below is a link to a DVI cable. The mate is a large rectangle with similar pin connections to mate with the end of the DVI cable.

do the batteries on a wireless xbox controller run out quickly!!!?
i heard battery life is around 30 hours, but im a solid gamer, so would i have to keep replacing the batteries often and is it a hassle or is there a way to charge the controller like a ps3 one.
You can buy a Play and Charge Kit (http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Microsoft+-+Xbox+360+Play+%26+Charge+Kit+-+Black/8267733.p?id=1170290207456&skuId=8267733) if you want a simple option to keep your controller charged. But if you’re going to be gaming a lot I’d recommend just picking up a few rechargeable AAs and a charger. Batteries do last a while even with the mic in, but if you’re going to play a lot you can save money in the long run with rechargeables.

I downloaded the new 2.40 versions and was lucky not to have any problems.
I’m not a big video game player so I don’t know all this lingo.
