What are all the new features for PS3 2.40?
I downloaded the new 2.40 versions and was lucky not to have any problems.
I’m not a big video game player so I don’t know all this lingo.
what exactly are the new features for the PS3 with version 2.40?
• Able to access the XMB in-game
• You can now see the system clock on the XMB™ screen. The date and time that were set under [Settings] > [Date and Time] are displayed.
• When using a keyboard, you can now clear the entire text entry field at once.
• The Users icon is now displayed when you press the PS button for an operation that cannot be performed.
• You can now turn off the PS3™ system from the XMB™ screen using the [Turn Off System] option.
• You can now set the PS3™ system to turn off automatically after updating the system software.
• [Reassign Controllers] and [Controller Vibration Function] have been added as options under [Accessory Settings].
• You can now print images from a playlist.
• You can now sort items that are grouped in a folder by month or year using the [Film Date date down] or [Film Date date up] options.
• You can now use a mini-size control panel while playing music.
• You can now play music content encoded in MP3 Surround format.*
• MP3 Surround can only be used when playing music content in Linear PCM format.
• You can now use the [Frame Noise Reduction] and [Block Noise Reduction] settings for video content that is saved on the hard disk or storage media.
• You can now play upscaled video content that is saved on the hard disk or storage media. When the video content is played, it is upscaled automatically to match the screen size.
• Upscaling of Blu-ray Disc (BDAV) video content is now supported.
• For DTS playback on DVD-Video and Blu-ray Disc media, DTS-ES and DTS 96/24 for DVD-Video and DTS-ES Matrix for Blu-ray Discs are now supported.*
• The procedure for quitting PLAYSTATION®3 format software has been changed.
• You can now collect trophies in games that support the trophy feature.
• [Search] has been added as an option in the browse mode menu of the Internet browser.
• The number of Friends who can be added to a Friends list has been increased from 50 to 100.
• The [Information] screen has been redesigned and renamed as [Profile].

is the ps3 turbo fire bluetooth controller compatible with call of duty mw2?
is it compatible? can u put rapid fire to some weapons? what are the advantages? is it worth to be buy?
They do work, but the guns that you can use them with, suck. Don’t waste your money.

Should I Get MAG or Modern Warfare 2?
first off, 360 Nerds go away, your probably the most annoying fanboys cause you don’t respect Ps3 Fan‘s opinions, and most of you who answer this question are probably gonna say: MW2 is better without even playing MAG. and just watching IGN’s review of it.
So
Which one has more weapons?
Which one has more customization
Which one has better gameplay
and i don’t care about graphics, for 256 plays on one big map in mag its very impressive graphics
i just wanna know which one i should i get.
P.S can you change the look of your character In MAG when your done making it the first time?
I believe you should get MAG
I don’t know much about mag other then it involves more teamwork them MW2 and that’s more important IMO. The reason why I wouldn’t get MW2 is that is the same crap I saw in mw and WaW, the game isn’t about teamwork and it lacks more realism then any other game Ive ever played, which is only a problem as it claims to be a realistic modern shooter. And to be honest with you the customization in mw2 is pointless as the perks and weapons are far from balanced which forces you into a couple of choices which consists of…..:
- Dual Glock 18s ( Most obnoxious of the group as the range is ridiculous)
- Assault Rifle W/ RDS (Not OP But just something that you will find you’re self having to use to stay combat capable)
- MLC (Marathon Lightweight Commando, The realism factor just committed suicide 5 times when this Idea comes into play)
